Lesson 3 - Identifying Nets

To encourage your child to have fun on the Web while learning about Identifying Nets, here are some games and interactive activities they can do on their own or in pairs.

Instructions for Use

Matching Nets lets your child match the 3-D shape with the net.

To use Matching Nets, set the volume on your computer to hear Dr. G's instructions. Click either the 'Yes' or 'No' buttons to answer her questions.

Cut-Out Nets lets your child build 3-D objects from a net, and build nets from 3-D shapes.

To use Cut-Out Nets, select a shape from the pull-down menu. Move the slider slowly from 0 to 100. Click on the object and drag the left mouse button to rotate it.
