Instructions for Use

Adding Money lets students practice calculating the cost of purchases.

To use Adding Money, scroll down and click the "Start Addition" button. To solve the addition question that appears, use mental math strategies, such as regrouping, or use paper and a pencil to add the cents, dimes, and dollars. Input the answer in the text box next to the "check" button, and then click the "check" button. Compare your time and scores with a partner or with your previous scores.
