To encourage students to have fun on the Web while learning about Relating Capacity Units to Volume, here are some games and interactive activities they can do on their own or in pairs.

Instructions for Use

 

Units of Capacity and Volume lets students to investigate equivalent units of capacity and volume.

To use Units of Capacity and Volume. click the box and type in a number between 0 and 9999. Press 'Enter' or 'Return'.

 

How High? helps students learn about volume by pouring a liquid from one container into another container with a different shape.

To use How High?, click on one of the 'Base' radio buttons to select the type of container. The container on the left will partially fill with a liquid. Drag the arrow next to the container on the right to the level you think the liquid will reach when it is poured from the container on the left. Click 'Pour' . Compare the height of the liquid to your guess.
