Instructions for Use

Forecasting the Weather allows students to use probability lines to forecast the weather.

To use Forecasting the Weather, click on any Canadian city on the map. Study the current conditions, forecast and the satellite imagery. Make a list of the next 5 days and describe the probability of the weather and temperature in your area of the country.

 

Heads or Tails - lets students see the probability of getting head or tails in a coin toss.

To use Heads or Tails, input the number of coins to be tossed and the number of times each coin is to be tossed. Click the 'Play' button. A graph will display the results.
