Base Ten Blocks - Decimals lets your child practice adding decimals tenths and hundredths using base ten blocks.

To use Base Ten Blocks - Decimals, click the "Next Problem" button until an addition problem appears on the left side of the screen. Starting with the "1/10's" column and working your way over to the "100's" column, look for blocks that can be grouped to form a larger base ten block unit. To group blocks to create a larger unit, click and hold down the mouse while dragging a rectangle to lasso the blocks. When you have selected the correct number of blocks, the blocks will join together to create a larger unit block. Drag the newly grouped unit into the column to the left. Group the blocks until no more blocks can be grouped. The addition solution will appear in the area on the left.

To practice adding decimals hundredths, click the up button beside "Decimals = 1" to increase the decimal places to 2. Then following the instructions above.
