Instructions for Use

Regular Polygons helps your child identify properties of regular polygons.

To use Regular Polygons, scroll down to find the "Regular Polygons" applet. Read through the information. Move the slider slowly to change the shape. Note the name of the polygon, the number of sides, and the side lengths. Study the chart. Try to find the lines of symmetry on each polygon.

The Angles of a Regular Polygon helps your child identify properties of regular polygons.

To use The Angles of a Regular Polygon, scroll down to find the "The Angles of a Regular Polygon" applet. Input the number of sides of a regular polygon and click the "solve" button. The name of the polygon, the sum of the measure of the interior angles, the measure of each interior angle, and the measure of each exterior angle will appear.
