Instructions for UseFitness Calculator helps students solve distance problems. Students can use Fitness Calculator to check their answers to distance problems. Students can also record the time and distance of a run around the school track and then use this Web page to figure out their pace. Students can then use a table to see how far they could have gone in a longer period of time keeping the same pace. To use Fitness Calculator, click on the drop-down menu in the Distance area and change the unit to kilometers, and click on the drop-down menu in the Pace area and change the measurement to "per kilometer". Input any two pieces of information (time, distance, or pace) and then click the "Calculate" button. For example, to find the pace of a run, input only time and distance. |
