Instructions for UseDivision lets students practice dividing hundreds by one-digit numbers. To use Division, read through the Web page and then click the "Start Division" button. Calculate the quotient and input the answer in the text box. Click the "check" button to see if the answer is correct.
Division with Base 10 Blocks gives students an opportunity to explore division by using interactive base ten blocks. To use Division with Base 10 Blocks, move the sliders to change the length and width of the rectangle. Notice how the division problem changes to reflect the number of base 10 blocks added to the rectangle. Click the "Self Check" or "Self Check 2" button to practice dividing using base ten blocks. To check an answer, click the "Check/Explain" button. To try a new problem, click the "New Problem" button. |
