Instructions for UseInteractive Calculator allows students to practice multiplying decimals by 10 and 100. To use the Interactive Calculator, start by pressing any decimal tenth - try 0.4. This number will appear in the window of the calculator. Press the 'X' button on the calculator, and press 10. Press the ' =' button on the calculator to show the answer. The answer becomes shaded on the hundreds board. Multiply other decimal tenths and hundredths by 10 and 100. |
